MARYLAND — Fourteen Greene Turtle locations will host watch parties for the Preakness Stakes this Saturday. Customers will be eligible to win a VIP trip for two to next year’s race.
Guests will earn cards as they buy select drinks through Saturday. Each one represents a horse running in the race. Patrons who have cards for the winning horse will be entered to win the experience. Visitors can collect as many cards as they want to increase their chances of winning.
Diners who get cards before race day can redeem them for a free order of Crabby Rinds, which are new to the menu, between Sunday and May 31. Attendees can also purchase joint merchandise for the Preakness and The Greene Turtle.
“Preakness is always one of the most fun and exciting events of the year in Maryland,” The Greene Turtle President and CEO Geo Concepcion said in a press release. “This year especially, everyone is looking for an opportunity to get together and have some fun.”
These bars will participate in the day’s events:
- Aberdeen
- Bel Air
- Columbia
- Deep Creek
- Edgewater
- Hanover
- Hunt Valley
- Mount Airy
- Olney
- Owings Mills
- Pasadena
- Salisbury
- Westminster

“We’re proud to host events that will bring the community together and provide a great way for everyone to enjoy the race,” Concepcion added.
The 146th running starts at 6:50 p.m.
